Ndabaningi (ə ndabaˈnɪŋgɪ). 1920–2000, Zimbabwean clergyman and politician; leader of the Zimbabwe African National Union (1963–74). He was one of the negotiators of the internal settlement (1978) to pave the way for Black majority rule in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe)
