The olive-brown robe of one saint is balanced by the rich red of the other.

When newly laid the egg (Plate 5, Fig. 1a) is yellowish, but changes to olive-brown.

Five eggs are usually laid, green of various shades in ground colour, spotted and blotched with olive-brown and gray.

Olive-brown filaments, resembling fine, knotted threads, each knob having a whorl of delicate filaments.
