There was a distinct Roman element in Iconium, arising doubtless from the presence of Roman traders.
From Iconium they turned southward to Lystra, twenty miles distant.
That author describes Iconium as the last city of Phrygia; and in Acts xiv.
Pisidia, part of which had hitherto been included in one province with Isauria, was also detached, and made to include Iconium.
