Any of four or five small arteries given off from the splenic artery, passing to the greater curvature of the stomach, and anastomosing with other arteries in that region.
An artery with origin in the hepatic artery, with distribution to the pyloric portion of the stomach, and with anastomoses to the left gastric artery; right gastric artery.
An artery with origin in the celiac artery, with distribution to the stomach, the esophagus, and a portion of the left lobe of the liver, and with anastomoses to the esophageal and right gastric arteries; left gastric artery.
