A new line of battle was formed on the plank road west of Chancellorsville, and on the turnpike east.
We entered Richmond on May 11, and on the 15th camped near the old battle-field of Chancellorsville.

It soon found itself very near the scene of the disastrous battle of Chancellorsville (p. 335).
